Simulation to Microtopography Formation of CBN Active Abrasives on a Honing Wheel Surface

چکیده

The microtopography of a honing wheel surface composed active abrasive grains is the key factor affecting characteristics, and control it sufficient condition to realize high-efficiency precision honing. Based on magnetron sputtering method phase field method, theoretical model cubic boron nitride (CBN) coating formation established. physical vapor deposition (PVD) discrete equation solved by finite difference method. A MATLAB program compiled simulate process micromorphology CBN surface. Taguchi designed study relationships time, substrate temperature, gas flow rate, reaction space with number abrasives length, width, height, size abrasives. simulation results are highly similar scanning electron microscopy (SEM) examinations, which shows that can accurately effectively morphology under different conditions provide basis for prediction wear

a study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns

attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Simulation of nanodroplet impact on a solid surface

A novel computational fluid dynamics and molecular kinetic theory (CFD-MK) method was developed to simulate the impingement of a nanodroplet onto a solid surface. A numerical solution of the Navier–Stokes equation using a volume-of-fluid (VOF) technique was used to model nanodroplet deformation. Dynamic contact angle during droplet impact was obtained by molecular kinetic theory. This dynamic c...
